PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer. PVDF resins are known for their high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, flame resistance, and excellent resistance to most chemicals and solvents. The PVDF Rod offered at DoonX® possesses high dielectric strength, excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation, and low permeability to most gases and liquids.

DoonX® offers PVDF rod in black and white, carries the material in the warehouse for prompt shipping. PVDF Sheets in white and black colors are also available here.

PVDF‘s resistance to creep is remarkable. Moisture, lubricants, and chemicals including strong acids and bases have minimal effect on this property, making it suitable for applications requiring durable and stable materials. Its good electrical insulation properties qualify PVDF for electrical applications that demand high reliability. PVDF retains its toughness across a wide temperature range and is among the most stable of the fluoroplastics. Its low moisture absorption characteristic ensures that molded parts perform consistently in environments with fluctuating humidity levels.
