Bakelite (Phenolic Resin) is a thermosetting plastic made from phenol and formaldehyde through a condensation reaction. Bakelite resins exhibit excellent electrical insulating properties, high mechanical strength, and good heat resistance, making them suitable for electrical and mechanical applications. The Bakelite sheet offered at DoonX® has high resistance to water, acids, and various chemicals, excellent dimensional stability, and outstanding heat resistance among thermosetting plastics.
